Up close, the difference between good flower and great flower is in the details. Trimming and grading are where those details are won.
We trim every flower by hand. A machine is faster, but it bruises the bud and knocks off trichomes. By hand, we keep the shape and the frost.
Grading, bud by bud
After trimming, each bud is graded so buyers get a consistent product. The top shelf flower is kept separate from the rest, and only the best carries the premium label.
Why it is worth the time
Hand work is slow and it costs more. But it is the only way to protect the look and quality that a premium buyer is paying for.
The details you can only see up close are the ones buyers notice first.
